Funding support for impact startups and SMEs
Non-profit initiative to assist during the Coronavirus crisis
Are you a startup or SME, based in the UK, Denmark, Sweden or Germany, dedicated to positive impact for People & Planet?
Are you inherently a healthy business but in danger of running out of capital, and finding it difficult to fundraise because of the COVID-19 crisis?
During July and August we are focusing on supporting the startups we've selected, and will be ready to receive new applications in September. Register below to get notified when we are ready to look at your application.
We don’t take a fee or any other payment, and we won’t share your data without your permission.
Why are we doing this?
We want to do our part in assuring that we won’t see multiple years with virtually no funding opportunities as we did back in 2008-2010.
It is especially important to us that those who focus on positive impact for People & Planet will not experience a long dry funding period. We believe that investors want to do what is right, and be part of the solution, but may need more encouragement, support and community than under usual circumstances, in order to stay engaged.
Times have changed, there is no doubt about it. Buf if your startup or SME can continue to be a good, impactful and strong concept, also in times with economic downturn, then it should not die “just” because we can expect a couple of difficult years ahead.
Other supporting organizations
Are you a private investor with significant experience investing in startups and/or SMEs?
We understand and respect that many investors have paused their investment activities during these times of extreme uncertainty. However, we believe that it will benefit everyone to keep planting seeds, so that the normal investment activities can be resumed as soon as possible.
We are gathering a pool of strong investment cases, all with a relevant focus on impact for People & Planet.
Working as volunteers, we assess their potential, to ensure their business models and concepts are relevant and viable in an economic downturn, and that their leadership is realistic and strong.
We take no fee or other payment, and there is no catch. We do this work to make it easy for you to stay engaged, build new relationships, and keep learning. The investors who are now planting seeds, will be in a better position to harvest once we get through this crisis.
